They are another species, with another instinctive idea of "good". Free will doesn't exist, the same set of genetics, in the same set of environments, always produces the same results. This is how I see the struggle, it's truly an animalistic one, an evolutionary one, the only objective "good" that exists is winning the "game" of life and species that is evolution : The propagation of copies of your genes over multiple generations. Right now, they are winning and we are losing, but that might turn around, considering the ones holding us back are our own kind, and most of those are dying out without leaving descendants, meaning that the restraints placed upon us are being removed. Soon we will have a population who is genetically predisposed to not give a shit what "the law" says, a people who are genetically predisposed to care about race before "morality", a people who are genetically predisposed to fighting and fucking, and rising their children to do the same, rather than being useless pieces of shit. The worst of us are being purged, and we can only hope for a pushback rather than something like we see in south africa or rhodesia.
