It was a bit startling to realize just how much degeneracy had been made to be normal in my mind once given the proper historical context. Cant say i was ever super hyped about it. But i was definitely more tolerant than i am today. Still dont care if you want to do degenerate shit. Just dont expect me to be nice about it. Theres a big difference between shaming something and wanting the govt to prohibit it. I am all about shaming degeneracy. Still not big on asking the govt to prohibit most things. But the left is going so far theyre forcing me to change even that view.

Part of it is the "dude weed lmao" culture that surrounds it. I detest weed culture. I can count on one hand the number of regular weed smokers I've known who haven't fallen into that bullshit. Anecdotal? Yes, but I don't care. Fuck you, potheads.

I've only known one person in my life who stayed into weed culture past high school and yes he's cringe. Most people grow out of that even if they continue to smoke.
