I would find it hard to believe that a carb deficient food did not signal satiety faster though.
That's because protein is the most satiating food. This is well studied. It's why keto / carnivore are so easy, meals are small by volume because you go heavy on fats which are 9kcal / g versus both carb and protein being 4kcal / g, but the primary 'thing' you're eating is protein,
