In my state a business was shut down due to one complaint that the business was offering indoor dining (when they weren't). The business owner took the issue to the media because the automated letter they got from the health department claimed to witness/confirm the violation, yet the health department had never even investigated. The owner had cameras and other witnesses that indoor dining was not being offered at the time.
They lost business and money until it was all sorted out - all likely due to one complaint from a (probably) disgruntled customer. Theyve got businesses by the balls on this ridiculous mask thing to force people to comply one way or another. Its scary, really.
