You can take off all your masks in a restaurant while you're at your table, and you won't infect anyone/get infected, but if you stand up and are not in contact with your table then you must mask up. See, covid is like a child and thinks that we are all playing a game of tag, and so it respects that your table is "home base" in the game of tag and won't infect you there.
