You can take off all your masks in a restaurant while you're at your table, and you won't infect anyone/get infected, but if you stand up and are not in contact with your table then you must mask up.

Some dumb hole at a smoothie place did that. She wouldn't let me order a drink, so I put my shirt over my nose. She said "no, you have to wear one of the ones we give you."

I just walked out. I can't give my money to people like that. Spend the rest of my vacation hiking and doing things outdoors because I couldn't fucking go anywhere in that city. N95 masks are a crock. Pre-coof, I wore those N95 masks in construction and the dust I was trying to block still got in.

They also vent exhaled air directly to the atmosphere, so they do nothing to stop the virus from being exhaled at high speed, which is supposed to be the only thing that a mask does to combat the coof.

And remember, there are fines in Britain for not wearing one, but other than the normal littering penalty, I've npt heard a single thing about fining people who dont dispose of their mask properly. The emphasis is on wearing the damn things yet I see them strewn around outside everywhere, both disposable and cloth. There are no bio waste disposal bins outside shops, even though they insist you wear one to get inside, so why arent they equally insistent that you put the disposable ones in a proper bio waste bin to be collected for burning, and the cloth ones put under a UV light for 60 seconds? There is absolutely zero effort being put into containing the spread in normal logical ways, instead qe are made to accept unscientific bullshit measures like standing 2m apart, restrictions on healthcare access, staying indoors away from the sun, and wearing a retarded napkin on asymptomatic people which does more harm than good, without any proper protocol for the disposal of said napkins which apparently could contain the DEADLIEST VIRUS EVER!!
