Best comment in the thread. I agree with the mentality. It's not about turning the immoral to morality by calling them out, it's about telling the world about their hypocrisy to wake up others.
Soviet Union was brought down by enough people being forced to wake up. There's still a few pockets of old soviet police state left overs but it's the young who actively resist the police state by shaming the hell out of Soviet Style Stooge Police. Until our last dying breath we should always be calling out the hypocrisy and double standards.
Why does anyone imagine they try so hard to silence and cancel out those who speak up? Because it's dangerous to those in power who would rule over us.
Soviet Union was taken over by criminal syndicates. People are more loyal to the gangs than they are to the police because the police didn't represent them.
Not totally. You really should visit Russia before making blanket statements like that. Yes, I saw gangsters in Russia but it's not like you can't sidestep them unless you are trying to engage in some large building project. I did go to a gangster owned restaurant which was quite nice but I got a distinct feel it was obviously gang controlled. Lots of expensive SUVs outside in the parking lot with some tough looking guys using the saunas off to one side. A local judge invited me there and we had a lovely dinner.
