it's "a false dichotomy"--they are both on a side opposite my own as far as I am concerned, and you loose automatically in trying to find a compromise that includes them which the term "centrist" implies. They need to be cut out like cancer and excluded completely to find what is actually correct.
if these are your terms, I'd be happy to be called an "extremist"--never a "centrist".
