Can confirm. In a microcosm, I was a member of a group that was having serious problems with one of it's leaders. Whenever I tried to push back against him the others were conciliatory and attacked me as an extremist. Eventually he took things too far (committed a #metoo offence) and was sidelined, but the moment that happened they all forgot they had ever defended him or that they had fought me for trying to deal with him. I think I'm the only one who ever apologised for defending him.

Hate is something you run from, its something you try to resist, until you are dragged into it against your will, kicking and screaming.

Its something that can only come from experience, babies know categorical differences between races and prefer their own, sure, but fir the other races, they have a default sense of the apathetic position.

Actual negative feelings towards other races, that has to be learned and acquired. Its not something that comes natural to us, the way it comes to the jew.

We try ignoring the problems caused to us by other races, or making excuses for them (denial), then we try blaming everything but the other races themselves (anger), then webtry to find a way to get the problems to go away (bargaining), next, we feel like we are the problem and feel terrible for what we have done or become and the situation we are in (depression).

Its only in the last stage that we graduate to becoming what people generally consider to be a capital "R" racist.
