An exercise in stupidity

Like their personal rebreather.

I have an idea. When people try to talk with my through a mask, I'm going to claim I'm partially deaf and tell them I can't read their lips through a mask so it sounds like "garble, barble, blah, blah"

Lots of people actually got hearing aids because of this. They were coping with hearing loss by reading lips. Then people started wearing masks. Didn't work anymore

On construction jobs it's often very noisy but having no training, we do learn to read lips a bit if we are close enough. We usually are required to wear earplugs for hearing safety. We have 3M masks with specialty filters for welding processes but as soon as we top welding and step out of a confined area we can take it off. It's not like you're forced to wear the mask when there's no need and in addiction. the masks have a double valve system to reduce rebreathing exhausted breath.

funnily enough, most of the shit that comes out of a maskfags lips isnt worth listening to.

Honestly, that probably is what they are saying.

That's exactly what I do. I do it because I Am partially deaf and I can't read anyone's lips behind a damn mask!

I'm only slightly hard of hearing due to construction work but I do much better if I can see a person's face. Also, I need the facial expressions to read them properly.
