At first glance, it looked like this gentleman was holding a pistol in his right hand, pointed at the bookshelf.
In a split second, a question and a bunch of possible answers flashed through my mind: "Why is this man brandishing his pistol at the bookcase? What have these books done to him? Are they holding his family hostage? Are they preparing to rob him? These books, monsters for terrorizing this poor man!"
About half a second of looking later, my feverish speculation stopped, and I laughed at myself- that's no pistol he's brandishing. It's just a book. This raises more questions. Why is the man kidnapping so many books? Why are the books not defending themselves?!
I am so tired. Help me.
I think the book he's reading is "Rayguns 101"
I like reading Edgar Allen Poe and what’s the other guy. Lovecraft
You missed the obvious truth of this image. He's kissing one book, has another between his legs, a third in a post coital snuggle with it's head on his chest and he's tweaking the nipple of a fourth while 100s of others await his attentions. He is the father of all knowledge. Books, like women, are the vessels that create a continuity with the future, but knowledge is pain, for his penis is covered in papercuts.
I laughed, I cried, cuz I read your post twice
I do not care for the ending!
