LOL. They probably didn't want to move the table so the chandelier could be centered.
This is clearly one of the worst I've ever seen. Diversity hire for the lose.
Haha. I think you're right. I couldn't see the color difference where the chain would normally hang on my phone this morning.
it does look shopped... but I do home inspections and have seen plenty of stuff this stupid.
Went to see an apartment back in the day. Landlord blowing smoke up everyones asses about how great the place was. I went into the bathroom while he was yammering on with my other half, and I look and the TP holder is only like 24 inches off the ground. Weird!? - I think to myself. Start looking around. The shower head is like 4.5 feet off the bottom of the tub, the toilet is touching the vanity. I go look in another room and that’s when I see that the outlets are at carpet level, screwed into a 2x4 that’s just sticking out of the floor and there are windows half cut off by the floor. Wtf. So I ask this guy what’s the deal?
Turns out it’s an old 1800s carriage house so it originally was nearly all open with a half loft area. Bob the builder converted the space inside into 3 apartments except he was claiming this shit as a single family dwelling with 1 tenant and just collecting super low rent on the other 2 illegal apartments. So you have to get your mail from the “main” tenant. Have to walk through someone’s apartment to get to the backyard, not to mention the entire 2nd level is SUSPENDED MIDWAY through the exterior windows. Gtfo there as fast as possible.
Oh I don't doubt it. I've seen some shit as well.
Living in Grand Rapids, MI, there are a lot of old houses converted to apartments, and the shit they do is crazy. Craigslist some cheap rentals for some laughs.

Another: Watch your head in that closet.
This is too fun:
