Exactly, but you can fishtail a FWD vehicle too. I was just postulating why someone would recommend putting the chains on the back.

Yes, but the front wheel drive vehicle will pull itself out of it.

That's right! I fishtailed an old FWD vehicle on the highway being young and acting like an idiot. After what must have been only a second ot two, it pulled right out of it.

Then I pulled over and changed my pants

Haha had a similar situation in freezing rain and slush. Car started to fishtail right, I overcorrected left. Started to remember: DONT OVERCORRECT DONT OVERCORRECT. Too little to late, I literally spun 180 and saw the oncoming highway traffic, 'hello death by 18 wheeler'. I kept spinning and was almost going the correct direction. Quickly pulled over.

Traffic had basically stopped to avoid crashing into my stupid ass. Did a mirrors check, and got right back on the highway because everyone had full stopped and the highway was clear.

Anyway, didn't learn a fucking thing.
