Please don’t misunderstand me, I am not in favor of masks. But, something that people seemed to mostly understand on voat yet they don’t here is that masks were never intended to protect the wearer, they were intended to protect people around the wearer in the case that the wearer didn’t know they were infected.
is why masks work. They’re not filters, they’re not intended to keep the virus in or out, they’re intended to keep particles from moving far away from the wearer.
Again, the virus is bullshit, masks are bullshit, lockdowns are bullshit; but when people spread memes like this it just makes us look retarded because they don’t argue against what the masks are supposed to prevent at all.
Masks make us look retarded. Sick of seeing normiez stand face to face talking pure bullshit because they think it's some kind of safety net.
Healthy people are not the problem.
Masks fuck you up more than they help, and these fools worship them more than anything else.
I don’t disagree. But at the end of the day, if you’re talking to some normie about masks and you say that masks keep the virus out the same way that chain link fences keep mosquitos out, they will never listen to you because that’s not even why they think they’re wearing a mask
