This was we thought about faggots 20 years ago. Now, this is unheard of.

Watch 'Are you being served' its not a terrible bbc show, and the humor is antiquated, ie: not polcorrect.

Mr Humphrey, one of the clerks, is a homo and a lead character, but even the jokes he makes about himself, are mostly derogatory.

The canned laughter riots along just fine though, for the reason you specified. They used to be a joke and there was no fear that Mr Humphrey was really a cockgobbler. IDK if the actor was, but I would not be surprised to find it was just acting and it was indeed funny by the standard of the times and of course to me, it is still funny.

One episode, they need to get a medical exam, the old man in charge, the young ladies man new guy, and the scene brings in Mr Humphrey who flips out at them standing behind a curtain because he is basically a woman. He is not enthused, he panics, like a woman who was accosted by pecker sightings. He makes no dirty remarks. Everyone else however, dogpiles the joke entirely, he has to get behind the curtain with them for the exam because he is a male. They tell him to calm the fuck down and get back here and wait for the doctor, its clear no one is having fun. Now Mr humphreyfag becomes self conscience and says "I'm not taking my pants off until you all turn around" and the young ladies man character standing next to him, looks him dead in the eyes and artfully replies "I am NOT turning around" uproarius laughter as the whole crowd knows he doesnt want the fairy to sneakily buttfuck him, fun joke for the whole 1980s british family.

Not trying to condone the prevalance of homos in media, just pointing out how correct you are, the method of presentation on the topic in general, has changed. They will say the people wanted this and were angry about the old way. You know what though, I know people, real people, its true I do, more than one.... they are very angry but no one in my long years has given a fuck about some faggots hurt feelings.

Thanks for taking the time to write that. I couldn't help but see the irony in your name. TV used to seem so much better but it really was a slow path to where we are. Who knows where they want to go.

Glad you noticed that :) Yep, I'm an anti-broadcast media advocate, I made that term up because I dont really exist according to the television.

Its a tricky gambit, communication is central to human society and media is a fine communicator. I take issue only with 1-way media where public comment is marginalized. If we had uncensored media sharing amongst the proles, it would be a fine thing, but that is not what we have.

Additionally, I subscribe, not by choice, to the theory that predictive programming is a real thing and actively used by our masters. It is observable and I doubt this assertion will even arouse an argument to the contrary. Because of this belief, and because I know that intents and our masters identities change over generations, I archive media across time. When I say 'Archive' I dont mean my movies folder, although that part is much the same, I am attempting in my grassroots org of one, to have compiled from the many warez sources, most if not all, broadly published multimedia.

If nothing else, it can be used to demonstrate the change of values over time (we weren't always at war with East Asia) as well as, catalogue for the trials, the methodologies blatantly used against the viewing public to guide their morals and norms. When such things are the act of one man, it is expression and persuasion. When such acts occur at the hands of international conglomerates, it is an act of dominance.

I seek to catalogue the crimes, and hope beyond hope, to find those few gems that accurately depict the morals of the culture in which I was raised. A culture in which old men feared infiltration, but felt hopeless to stop it. A culture that despised wickedness, a culture that cherished its wives and wanted nothing more than fidelity. A culture that knew lies beget only lies and that a painful truth was preferable and necessary. The world I once knew, I know its real, I remember it.

So the end result is a kinda wierd dude on the internet, who rails against television but frequently uses it to make his own little points. It's ok, It's allowed, I've authorized it by the power vested in me as president-elect.

So I guess its a kind of a mixup, this is what you get when you take a genX, but grow him up amongst the elders (old parents at birth) who still ring the alarm bells from time to time, but knew they were beaten. In recent years, it's become obvious the grampas were correct....about everything. This started when my father sent me into internetland to find him the old banned wartime disney cartoons. You see, he knew they existed despite the claims of the ministry of truth and when I retrieved them for him from my band of merry pirates, he was delighted as was I. That was 20 years ago.

just me doing my chicken little impression ;) til the sky falls

edit: I suspect you are correct, all the published eventually leads to demoralization by one route or another.

It is absolutely a delightful experience to be able to freely discuss such things, you should see the looks I get saying these things in public xD
