Here’s an example (the name of the button is ‘Related’ with the count on how many times that link has been posted), it shows up when more than two links have been posted

If you post a link on HackerNews that's the same as one recently submitted, it just sends you the comments of the currently active one... they aren't categorized with subs though, so it makes sense.
