The celtic languages dont really have a true word for yes and no. They say something like “it is” or “ it isn’t” . Are you British?

So what you're saying is Wales is a great place to pick up women?

Well there really isnt a word for yes either!

Basically, you would say something like “will you be having sex with me?”- they phrase shit like that.

Then she says “Will be” or “not will be”. Or something like that.

Gaelic is the same way. Even in english many of them will respond to a yes or no question with “it is” or “‘tis” rather than “yeah”

Its pronounced “din dee” or “deen dee”. Still funny though

The cognate in irish gaelic is duine dubh pronounced “ dinna doo” which is closer but generally understood to mean “ dark haired person “ in ireland. A black person is called duine gorm which literally translates to something like “dark blue person”

True story.

In Czech they say "cernok" which is derived from "cert" (the Devil).

The Czechs are pretty based too, that's why I moved here.

I wasn't actually sure so I went with the land instead of the people since languages are normally named after countries or regions.
