TV is a religious experience for everyone here over 40. It's sad beyond words how dull our elderly are in this country.
Dying religion. I haven't turned on a TV in over a year unless I'm using one as a monitor for a PC that I'm building.
The only TV I watch is trashy seasonal anime. I've haven't willingly sat and watched TV for at least 4 or 5 years now.

Boomers are absolutely addicted to 24 hour cable news. They each have their preferred station, and they watch it religiously. Yet they remain completely uninformed about what is actually going on. It’s kind of incredible really. Like attending 6 years of med school and not knowing basic human anatomy. It would beg the question: “what were they teaching you all that time instead?”
I'm over 40, and I don't watch TV.
