I honestly do not think it's strictly a "woman" thing anymore, it's a lack of consequence / cognitive learning thing. Males used to likely to be held accountable for their actions but since "bullying" has become a "crime" it's getting worse in the young male population as well. Example mildly attractive woman says something moronic or outright false, everyone just accepts it, no one mocks her to her face, no one corrects her so she thinks everyone agrees thus providing positive reinforcement and encouraging her to repeat this action. If a male did this we used to make fun of him call him a dumbass or a faggot providing negative reinforcement and would discourage him repeating the action. mildly attractive woman is texting while walking and runs into a man who was standing still knocking his coffee out of his hand and he angrily yells at her. The beta orbitors will coddle her, her friends will ignore her wrongdoing and send "thought's and prayers" to make her feel better, negative reinforcement. It used to be if a male had done this there was a chance the angry guy who he just hit might punch him in the face if not then still when he told his friends what happened would ridicule him. but now as these "nu-male," noodle armed, no consequence, "no way officer not my son", generation of unbullied / coddled males are entering their 30's I see it in them so much now.
