I've always strived to keep my personal habit personal. I hate it, and I recognize it's disgusting. Forget the secondhand smoke concerns. People just shouldn't be expected to inhale the residue of my own shit habit. If I'm in public, I try to go out of my way to find a place where there aren't any people, even if it means walking out in a field or behind the building. I can't stand the smokers that think they ought to stand right at the entryway of a building or apartment complex or something just because they 'stepped outside'. If I am road-tripping with a group of people, I will stop the car at a rest stop and try to do so a maximum of every few hours.
And that being said, i enjoy the act of smoking and have no desire to quit.
Although completely disgusted with Tobacco companies for manufacturing cigarettes with the addition of over 600 plus chemical additives (mostly carcinogenic compounds/ toxins that would otherwise cost industry to be safely disposed of - similar to the scam of adding the industrial refining waste product of sodium fluoride to water systems rather than pay the cost of disposal its sold as a water treatment/ additive).
A side note : I've looked for years but have yet to find any actual studies of the long term health effects of 'natural tobacco', ie tobacco without all the added 'chemical enhancers, flavors, curers, preservatives, shelf life extenders, additives to help the nicotine delivery system burn , additives to keep the nicotine delivery system from burning to quickly etc etc ad nauseum infinity ' ...
I've heard a lot of talk about this over the years. It seems like fairly straightforward logic. Smoking the absurdly less processed form of the plant ought to be better than those Frankensticks from Phillip-Morris. At the end of the day, inhaling smoke is going to damage your lungs when done regularly. Unfortunately, it's the particular way those processed cigarettes 'hit' that I've come to enjoy.
If I wind up quitting, it will just be from smoking altogether. I've never been a cannabis guy, and I cannot stand e-cigs/vaping, so if it's anything, it will be back to good old mildly polluted American air and probably putting on 15 lbs. from snacking on beef jerky or something.
Grow your own. The curing process is an art though. However, I have bought superior tobacco from home-growing enthusiasts compared to anything of reasonable cost at the shops, and it is dirt cheap.
I am studying to do this myself as I also believe organic tobacco has almost zero negative side-effects.
I already have an organic farm, but the gov won't allow me to produce tobacco for sale without a stupidly complex and expensive licensing process. Bloody faggots.
I believe the gov wants it impossible to produce/maintain because it facilities the sharpening of one's mind, helps people focus. It's against all their efforts to dumb-down the population.

It also appears to boost T levels.
Yeah ok, i concur. I tried growing a tobacco plant when i was much younger and didn't take care of it, so naturally it died from lack of water. However i should really get my ass back into it , esp considering the great amount of kits and online help info etc available these days ...
You know guns exist and it’ll hurt a lot less than lying in a death bed barely breathing
You sound like a real pussy bitch. I bet you ask your wife if you can go outside and wear three masks like a good little goy. Faggot.
Yea nobody’s a man like you. Let me see your dick
I'm not falling for that again.
Damn. You are retarded.
Did I say I wasn't?
Lolawlz
Sounds like you have been butt fucked by the new health minister?.
I actually don't mind the smell of fresh smoke. Stale smoke smells like ass. As long as you wait a few minutes after smoking, then come inside, it's not bad. If you have to step outside every 5 minutes and smoke, like some people, then come back inside it sucks for everyone. I thought the same thing when I smoked, too. It's weird how you can't smell the smoke on yourself when you are done smoking, but you can smell the stale smoke on everyone else when they come in after smoking.
March will be the 3rd anniversary since I quit. I used Chantix. It was the best thing I'd ever done. Smoked for 22 years.
I tried Chantix. That stuff messed with me. The dreams were intense.
Congratulations. I am a moron when it comes to smoking. Not long ago I just cold-turkey quit for 3 months, coming off a pack-a-day habit, and just picked it up again for no particular reason. It's like BOOM, one day whatever had carried me for 3 months disappeared, and I swung into a gas station.
That's not weird, that's normal. However people who successfully quit smoking keep quitting.
I'm of the Mark Twain school : "Quitting smoking is easy. I've done it hundreds of times..."
That happened to me before with dip. I don’t even know why I started back. I use a tobbaco packet now. I mean still like nicotine. I would quit if I wanted to.
The dreams were my favorite part. The intensity, realism and most were horror related. I'm just a bit twisted though. That's something I've always recognized and owned. The headaches and nausea were what I hated the most about Chantix. Didn't hurt that I have a beautiful blonde haired blue eyed angel that helped keep me motivated. The cravings used to hit pretty severely, but give it a few mins distraction and they pass. Gotta keep mentally focused. Over time even the cravings pass. Cigarettes just smell awful to me now. Keep at it and you'll eventually succeed. You've shown you have the mental focus of you've been able to cold turkey for that long. That's something I couldn't do.
