Nancy Pelosi was having tea with the Queen of England. She asked her.
"Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Is there any advice you can give me?"
"Well", said the Queen, "The most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."
Pelosi frowned, then asked, "But how will I know the people around me are truly intelligent?"
The Queen took a sip of tea. "Oh. That's easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle."
The Queen buzzed her intercom. "Please send in Boris Johnson."
Boris Johnson enters the room and inquires, "Yes, your Majesty?"
The Queen smiled at him and said, "Answer me this please, Boris: your mother and your father have a child. It is not your brother, or your sister. Who is it?"
Without hesitation, Boris answered, "That would be me, your Majesty."
"Yes! Very good! Thank you, Boris!", said the Queen.
Pelosi returned to DC and asked Joe Biden the same riddle.
"I'm not sure," said Biden. "Let me get back to you on that one." Biden visited with every single advisor and member of his cabinet. None could give answer, or were too confused and afraid of the reason for the question to respond.
Finally, Biden ran into Sarah Palin one evening at dinner. "Sarah," Biden asked, "Can you answer the following question; your mother and father have a child, and it's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?" Sarah immediately answered, "That's easy! It's me!"
Delighted, Biden returned to Pelosi, "Nancy, I did some research and I have an answer for you. It's Sarah Palin."
Pelosi shot up, stomped over to Biden, and angrily yelled in his face, "No, you fucking idiot! It's Boris Johnson!"
Now you understand the caliber of people who are running the United States Government. Put into proper perspective, it's all so simple.
