They released it with a new cover heavily down playing the "if" so it looked like "I did it". At the time I thought it was brilliant, then I saw the original cover and it was essentially the same. The fucker got away with murder and was taunting everyone involved.

IIRC, Nicole Brown's family was awarded the rights to the book during the civil trial, and they changed the title to How I Did It prior to publication.
