i use this same argument all the time for why its fine to call a paki a paki, punjab afgan kurdish and indian , the -stan suffix just means ' land of' that and the smell of them obviously

Disclaimer: I think this is all Britbong-cuckspeak and I'm American, but I think you have to call them Pakistani to be politically correct. Paki is like diminutive or something. Then usually the Brits call them Asian; I have no idea why
