Offhand I dunno if we have a real derogatory term for Irish. I have heard "Mick" used, for example in that cartoon Archer, but it's weird to think of that as a derogatory term when Mick Dundee is the name of the world's unofficial ambassador of Australia. Similarly it's weird to think of Paddy as a derogatory term when we have the unofficial holiday of "Saint Paddy's Day".

Ha yeah well they became nicknames for us because they’re such common names here. St Patrick is obviously our patron saint so there’s always been a lot of Patricks here, and I don’t think I’ve ever known a Patrick who isn’t called Paddy. I think the Mick thing took off in North America cos ye tend to shorten Michael to Mike instead of Mick. I even know Micks from Ireland that became Mike as soon as they moved stateside. I don’t really find either moniker derogatory or offensive though tbh, and often refer to myself as a Paddy.
