Same as bullying, there is too much fag and fat acceptance. People are social and the weak links need to be shown that the majoirty does not tolerate well poor behaviour.

I will always contend that if people want to be fat or gay they can. But the moment you start trying to have the govt sanction it or start trying to have my kids brainwashed into thinking its normal, now its not ok. Those activities should not be welcome to be undertaken openly in public. Keep your shameful behavior to the privacy of your home.
