Corporations want to hire idiot "engineers". For a long time I thought it was because they're greedy and don't want to pay. Now I think it's not about money but about control. You have dozens of idiots creating a shit product, where no one knows how the whole thing works. Solution to any issue is to just hire more idiots. Not uncommon to have 50 idiots creating overly complex pile of shit, when literally 3-5 smart experienced guys would do it much better and quicker. They don't care about money, they want full control.
