Look up Graham Hancock, as a starting point. He's done some really good Joe Rogan podcasts, if you prefer that format for the purpose of getting your feet wet. This rabbit hole goes deeper than any modern official archaeological expedition ever did, I'll tell you that.

This stuff is surprisingly well documented but is basically barred from general discussion. To my surprise there are books and even papers written on many of these topics.
