Yeah, and men and women like him think a significant other should love them "for them" and "unconditionally".

If someone is partnered becomes obese and their partner doesn't, then they deserve to get dumped. Obesity is a sign of laziness and poor impulse/self-control and a also that one is a poor mate. A person should want to look good and be healthy for their partner.
