Yeah its a real phenomenon, it makes you think about how hard it is to grasp such basic concepts and almost galvanized your efforts to never be this obsolete in the future.
At least she tried, I'll give her credit for that but she doesn't read up on technical issues. I worked as a plumber's assistant early last year and he was obstinate. He'd get an address then drive to the neighborhood and have the home owner come meet him to lead him to their house. He refused to get a Garmin. Why not just use his cell phone? Because, he refused to get a smart phone and used an old flip phone but refused to use the texting feature. Said he was afraid of it. I wanted to pound my head on the wall. Oh, and this is a guy who once applied to be a cop but failed the physical. In my opinion he would not have survived as a cop. When it was on the news about a guy who went to Walmart with a sheet over his head and eye holes cut out to see he was incensed. He said the guy should be beat up and arrested. I tried to reason with him that we don't beat up and arrest goof balls who do outrageous things to get attention. Nope, he was serious. Fairly good at plumbing, terrible at thinking things through.
