Anime characters aren't white. You see them as white because of personal bias. Japanese people see them as Japanese.
Nope. Japanese like other "yellow" race are white, mean skin color . And because of strong stylization anime - manga characters practically don't have race. Search YouTube, and you can find couple videos where Japanese are asked to decide which race are some characters.
...so you are blind or xxxxx so must read shitty articles even about obvious stuff? I'm white, blond hair, blue - green eyes, and I see Chinese which are whiter than me or my white friends. Of course there are asians with darker skin, just as white people. And again search and watch videos where Japanese can't decide are some character white - westerner or not. Can you guess? Same is with age, in manga - anime are only three age, very small kids, old farts... and everyone else is same... Bur you obviously know better than Japanese. Asians just like caucasians don't have big, round, bug like eyes, which are most common in manga. Except eyes entire facial structure is wrong, not asian at all. In some sub styles characters are very caucasians.... without any trace of asian facial features.
