If this were accurate, they would all be chinks.
You got that right. All those brands suck.
Buy Hilti. Still privately owned by the Hilti Family. One of the co-founders (Martin) was a voluntary Waffen SS.
Good company.

I have a lot of the Ryobi stuff I use for work. It has held up really well for the abuse I put it through and I don't have to feel bad about it if I fuck something up. The only thing I have that's Milwaukee is a handheld camera scope with like a 12' lead. Its helped me a lot but I can't speak for the other stuff.
I was gifted a brand new Ryobi chainsaw a while back. I remember somebody telling me "Ryobi sucks, my husband had one and it would never work"
Yet I've had this chainsaw for 2-3 years now and even though I use it sparingly, every time I have a job requiring it it fires right up.
If I had a tree trimming business then ya I'd go buy a $500 Stihl, but I just trim the odd branch here or there or perhaps remove a small tree or arborvitae every once in a while and for what it's worth it's a decent piece of machinery.
I use their impact drill, regular drill, saws etc... Zero complaints. Now-a-days everything seems to come from China or somewhere similar. Idk if any brands are US made or not.
We use all Milwaukee at work. It's good shit. I keep Ryobi around the house because I don't need to use it that often and it's cheaper.
I bought a Ryobi hand held belt sander for a short job. Figured I could give it to the homeowner when the job was done. It burned out before the job was finished and I ended up sanding by hand. Job finished and the home owner asked me about the belt sander I had promised. I laughed. "Didn't you see me out there sanding down stuff by hand? I threw that thing in the trash after it burned out."
If you want super in depth power tool reviews, check out the YouTube channel "AvE". Some Canadian who knows a shit load about electronics and manufacturing processes. He dissects power tools and can tell if they're made by the same place.
Also lots of other interesting/funny videos
He's a Canukistani.
I'm surprised he hasn't been banned for "Keep your dick in a vice!"
It's the skookum thing to do.
Release the schmoo!
What exactly is that? A Canadian-Muslim mix? I hope not....
It's his schtick. If you watch a few videos, you'll get what I mean.
his vids are great, was watching this one once and thought it had a funny little "stop noticing things" bit between him and his wife at about 5:00
That guy talks like a nutter but really knows his Chinesium. "Focus you fuck!".
Whenever you bring up tools you'll hear people try to justify what they bought so they don't have buyer's remorse.
But the truth is this - If you spend, let's say, $200 on a tool -
Yes, you may have spent $200 on a tool that's only worth $50.
Or you might have spent $200 on a tool that's worth $200. But it will never be worth more than $200.
But don't ever kid yourself. Ryobi tools are designed and built to be cheap. If a cheap tool is good enough for you, then great. You didn't waste money on build quality that you don't need. But you still own a cheap tool that was specifically designed to be cheap.
Woah, don't start throwing common sense into a highly emotional power tool debate. Everybody has an opinion, mine just happens to be right!
I spent a lot of time, money, or effort on something. And now a big meanie on the internet is telling me I did the wrong thing.
Instead of learning from my mistakes and moving on, I need to attack them and make everyone agree with me. So that I can continue to pretend I've never done anything wrong.
Wait..... I think I just summed up every comment section on the internet.
You should see Porter Cable...
Haha. They're fine for a weekend warrior. All of them are declining in quality, across the board, compared to what they used to be. I inherited some Craftsmen tools from my dad. Old as fuck, but he took care of them. They are better than anything I could go get from the Depot today.
It's amazing how many brands are all made in the same factory these days.
What's more amazing is how many of these brands are owned by the same parent company.
There was a time that a spent top dollar for most of my tools. The performance level of the lesser brands has reached a point where it doesn't make sense to have the flashy expensive ones - that also seem to attract the most thievery. Dewalt hasn't been all that great since the days they made giant cast iron radial arm saws, either. Mediocre at best.
Milwaukee all the way
Hey, nobody wants to borrow and defile my Ryobi tools. They are les likely to be stolen.
I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. Ryobi is owned TTI....the same company that owns Milwaukee.

Adonis belt is too high on milwaukee. Caution.
Milwaukee has a faggoty color to it anyway.
