His mistake was the same one white people are doing today. Being more empathetic than the untermensch deserve.

It's almost as if genociding the vermin isn't optical on the geopolitical stage.

It's almost as if he wanted them to leave and have their own homeland in Israel with the Havaara Agreement.

It's almost as if he thought there was a solution that didn't involve killing them all, even after Judea declared war and boycott against Germany in 1933.
