Also I have a bunch of oil riggers in my family.

Theres enough of us to restore any old marginal well.

Hell, theres enough of us to drill a new one.

Yep.

There is wood nearly everywhere, maybe coal in some areas, and like you said oil. With EVs you have to make sure your solar panels never get damaged and they take too long to charge a vehicle. Also you are constricted to the radius of range from the charger.

With wood, you can pretty much find that anywhere.
