Wood gas. It's been in use since WW2 in Germany when they had to ration fuels. It looks dumb as fuck but when the fuel grows on trees you can't go too wrong.

Couldn't tell you but apparently there's forums about it to help. I'd say if you can find someone crazy enough to fit it for you it can't be too much work, the technology is 150 or so years old by now.
