As a repentant former leftist atheist who has done this, I have to hang my head and confirm that this is 100% accurate.
Though to be fair, once I noticed that the whole "secular" anti-religion movement only ever shit on Christianity and refused to even touch Judaism, I woke up to the JQ. I noticed that all these secular atheists were coincidentally Jewish. Oy vey.
