Mastodon is on that list too. The first instance of that system has heavy-handed blacklists and blocking because the originator of the system doesn't like things and refuses to federate with certain other instances. Many mastodon instances subscribe to that blacklist because, and mastodon devs and site owners are well known in the fedi for being assholes and blacklisting stuff.

Why did it get banned?
Can testify that the mods at Mastodon.social are either extremely ignorant or abusive. When Sandia Mesa's account there was suspended, they said it was because some of my posts were . However, if you look at , you can verify that I never posted anything transphobic.
Could it be related to social pressure? Maybe. . .
