Wow, honest-to-god Lucas magic smoke. That's pretty useful.
I remember when magic smoke was a joke one of my electronics teachers taught us, that I thought was unique. Until I got out into the real world and found out literally everyone knows that joke.
That's been a joke as long as there's been electric devices to let the smoke out of. I've never been able to get it back in, however, always had to replace the parts instead...
I haven't had a magic smoke incident since I learned to never buy cheap power supplies. That is the one component I never skimp out on.
I play with electronics at the component level sometimes, so I let the smoke out that way.
