My garage was frozen the other day due to the very cold temps we had then it warming up to melting weather then freezing again. Somehow that gave me a huge trapped collection of ice then water then ice again.
Couldn't even open the garage and this didn't happen last winter. I had to get the bottom of the garage door up alone basically by itself since the entire bottom lining of it was frozen due to all the ice melting then going to the bottom alone if not other places to as well to just freeze again.
This is a really strange winter so far in the midwest alone and Montana got 5 feet of snow in September time frame.
ya dude, i raked a part of roof today so it doesnt ice dam. we going thru a mini thaw right now.... it hits 32+ then freezes
damn i need check the back end of the roof
but yeah i had my garage door freeze shut it sucks, you have to set the ... (i guess) limits on your openers so it doesnt break shit, i dont what its called.... its like the saftey thing. so if you hit it it knows and shuts down
