This depends..
Before the electronics (aka radio shack on steroids) store closed last year for good, I would take the bottom route for sure.
This is because they had so much electronical goodness, much of it vintage. Stuff like new old stock CB equipment, new old stock 74 series and cmos logic/memory ICs/CPUs (like Z80s and the like). Every time I went, I'd find something I've never seen before.
Electronics connection, Ford and Newburgh, westland mi. I miss them so damn much.
