As The Frosties committee rounds up and begins to review the nominations for 2024, here is what I'd like to highlight: #Live show date/time: TBD It depends on several people's availability, the streaming setup, etc. We'll keep you posted. #None of the categories are set in stone There was an [initial suggestion of categories](https://poal.co/s/Frosties2024/694126) we'd use this year, but these are subject to change based on the nominating behavior. For example, I just don't see "best (OC) photo" being a category after seeing the nominations that have(/haven't) come in. However, there could be a "best story" category because many of the photo-related nominations that have come in are tied to a story that's more entertaining than the photo itself. "best food pic" might also be a thing based on the availability of the content. The Frosties committee is going to prioritize having a relatively short list of well-populated categories so the thing doesn't go on forever this year. Certain great content that didn't make the cut will probably get an honorable mention. #Many of the nominations will be pruned Since it's open to anybody, we're inevitably going to get some things that don't fit. Also, and I'm guilty of this, there have been some joke/diss nominations and Frosties nominations have been used in banter. You love to see it. We will try to get an honorable mention list going for single-category nominations and one-offs that were high quality. #There are pareto distributions of nominees and nominators You complainers had all year to nominate stuff. You still have time. It's easy to go back and find things you *could* nominate.
