Up until recently, muh roads were paid for by the gas tax, which had nothing to do with earnings. You're conflating shit. Taxes pay for roads, always have. The income tax, which improperly taxes earnings paid in exchange for labor, is not the only tax we pay. Schools are paid for by property taxes. Colleges are paid for by tuition.
