It's good to be skeptical, but I believe the creator of Graphene OS is a Canadian who forked the project when an earlier version became commercial. Ie. he is a hard core open source believer.

I don't remember his name sounding Jewish and his various (limited) social media wasn't full of trans/homo stuff.

Well in that case, I rescind my previous compliment!

It is interesting they only support google pixel. Considering they've removed all Google shit from the OS, it's not a bad idea.

I think it's just because Google pixel phones allow flashing without risky hacks. Maybe it could be hacked unto other phones as well, but the rom or something would be unlocked afterwards I think.

Just getting into it myself.
