For real. Imagine spending 30 minutes or more to drop a tree and having it hang up in some branches of another. Nowadays you just give it a quick top-notch and under-cut, the drop is enough to usually free the tree. Back then you would have to get all up in there with an axe and cross saw. That is why 2 loggers a day would die.
