In Texas we would say that horse was rode hard and put up wet!
meth
Typo. 64.
Yeah, I've encountered a few meth heads during my life who look that bad even in their thirties. Sad.
There's a "new" woman at my (low turnover, she's been with us for about a year). Thought she was closer to 50. Turns out she's younger than me by 2 years. I'm pushing 40, but look rather young for my age.. or so I've been told often...
She called me "kiddo" one day because she doesn't know how old I really am. Almost quipped back "I'm older than you, you know..." but I shut my mouth because that would probably make her run off and cry.
She doesn't seem like an ex meth-head, but who knows. Pleasure to work with, very bright... cheery, and happy all the time. Does her job well. But damnit, she's been slapped with the old stick way too many times.
