Cases mean virtually nothing. How about excess deaths. Cases mean big scary numbers. "People are dying man!" (But only like 0.002% and many of them vaccinated don't tell anyone!)

I wouldn't be surprised if this is also propaganda being postured to demonized conservatives and DeSantis since he's perceived to be a possible frontrunner for the presidency in 2024.
