I lived briefly in Hollywood in 2008, hated it, left after 3 months. Nuthin but jews and bean-niggers. My bro just moved to Destin, and says it's great, mostly White folks, lots of work (we do remodeling). What's your opinion on the Destin area?

That's weird, one of my friends just went there lol. She liked it there. I'm not from Florida and haven't been to Destin myself, but the crime rating on neighborhood scout is 45 which is good. Hollywood, FL has crime rating of 15. Significant difference there. And I found this on google: "The 5 largest ethnic groups in Destin, FL are White (Non-Hispanic) (85%), Other (Hispanic) (5.4%), White (Hispanic) (3.07%), Black or African American (Non-Hispanic) (2.04%), and Asian (Non-Hispanic) (1.77%). NaNk% of the people in Destin, FL speak a non-English language, and 93.4% are U.S. citizens." I hope you get a response from a Floridian to confirm, but I'd say it's probably worth checking out at least.

Thanks...my friend was preceded by our OTHER friend, who is rich, we have known each other for years...he swears the place is great, lots of fishing, bars, live music, etc. Although I live in Hawaii, the mask/fear climate is really dragging me into the pit of despair. I hated Hollywood in 2008, but also had an alcohol problem, which I don't anymore...I'm gonna wait a few weeks, and see what my newly-arrived fren says.

No problem. I hope you end up moving somewhere that makes you happy. Being stuck somewhere you don't like is no fun, I know what that's like. I'm looking into moving too.

Been on Oahu 21 years, but the mask fear isn't ending...I am filled with rage seeing healthy young people wearing masks while jogging, riding bikes, etc...the public libraries are STILL closed, but Walmart is open...just infuriating to be surrounded by alarmist, hysterical idiots. I JUST moved from a farm to a house in a nice part of town, the thought of moving again is not fun, but I can barely take it anymore..
