Been working on this boat and trailer for a couple weeks now. Got a great deal on it. Finally got it wet.

$1500 and he put brand new tires and rims on the trailer before I took it. Plus I asked him if I could borrow a wrench to change my ball and he gave me one of those 3 way hitches with the balls on it (That's not cheap). Cause he didn't want to go look for a wrench? I don't know, didn't ask...

Is a good time, wish I were there. Nice boat, hell of a deal. That engine likes high octane (crap fuel can cause detonation that can eat pistons), keep good oil in the lower end, a new water pump impeller every 2 years. Last a long time. My personal recommendation is amsoil synthetic for all needs. I’ve seen original engines last 30plus years without any repairs neeeded, and they were run HARD. It’s not advised to change a ball with wrenches, they tend to come loose and fall off. A solid 1/2” impact gun is the way to put them on unless it’s in a pinch.
