I can't count the times I've had to say, "No. Not the mammal, the fish" BTW, it's called a dolphin, not mahi mahi, dorado or whatever tf.
That's why I call them dolphinfish or mahi-mahi.
My little nieces teared up and cried when I told them about how delicious a dolphin sandwich was down in Florida while we were enjoying a venison stew up north.
"Uncle 8-bill, did you really kill Flipper and eat him?"
"No, honey. It's a big yellow and blue fish. I don't know why they call them dolphins. Now finish up your bowl of Bambi's mother."
