Cool history lesson. But weren't they the 'bright' ones since they decided to move to the US?

I'm from the swamps of Louisiana. Hated it. I'd rather have lived in Canada or France (back then, not today).

On the brighter side, we did have great food, very great music - and Mardi Gras.
