Well, this site is mildly depressing. Considering how much money I'll have to have saved up as well as how much cash I'd have to make monthly in order to own a house, I can only hope that they'll stop making McMansions and start making regular houses again.

Those are all good points. My goal for the future is to not worry about a house for a few more years. I figure that's how long it'll take me saving like a maniac to afford a house.
